It’s almost time to lace up your sneakers and move your feet before you eat!

The 19th Annual Huntington Turkey Trot returns to Ritter Park for a Thanksgiving Day 5K fun run full of tradition and excitement. Join the Huntington, WV, community Nov. 27, 2025, on this day of giving to celebrate, enjoy each others’ company, wear fun costumes, breathe in the fresh fall air, and help animals in need. Families of all sizes, visitors in town for the holiday, strollers, and dogs are all welcome.

All proceeds from the 5K run/walk benefit Little Victories Animal Rescue Group and its mission to provide shelter and sanctuary for unwanted dogs and cats in the community.

• Race-day registration: 7:30 a.m.
• Early packet pick-up: Information to come
• Race start: 9 a.m.
• Start location: Ritter Park picnic shelter and playground
