Fitz is the kind of dog who is simply happy to be included. Whether he is heading out for a long sniffy walk, hopping in the car for the next adventure, or settling in at home after a game of fetch, he is content as long as he gets to be with his people. One of Fitz’s favorite things is a good car ride. He loads up happily and travels like a pro, making him an excellent companion for camping trips, road trips, and everyday errands alike. Foster care has given Fitz the chance to show just how wonderful he is to live with. He has excellent house manners, reliable off-leash skills, and settles beautifully when the day is done. He also thrives with other dogs and enjoys having canine companions around.
Fitz’s best fit:
Fitz will do best in an adult-only home, as young children can make him nervous. He would love to have another dog in the home and also does very well with cats. To help him transition smoothly, Fitz’s adopters will receive free training sessions through Mountain Mutts LLC, where they can learn his favorite games and the routines that have helped him thrive. Fitz does not ask for much. Give him a family to share life’s adventures with, a cozy place to come home to, and he will fit right in.
