Cleo

Estimated age: 7 years
Gender: Female
Time at LV: Less than 1 month

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Cleo is an extremely affectionate, long-haired girl. She was recently returned to Little Victories after two years in a home when her adopters could no longer care for her due to their own health issues. She is very much overweight and will need a careful diet to help improve her health, but Cleo uses every ounce of her body for love. She loves a lap and to purr while you pet her. She will require some coat maintenance as a long-haired cat.

Binx

Estimated age: 5 months
Gender: Male
Time at LV: Less than 1 month

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Little Binx came to us as a stray after living with a foster for a bit. He was the slowest to adjust of his siblings, but being with other cats made him more confident. He still needs a lot of calmness and patience to be able to trust new people and places, but he will allow affection. We expect Binx will learn to be a happy house cat with the right person, but he may need some time to really warm up.

Mercury

Estimated age: 4 years
Gender: Female
Time at LV: Less than 1 month

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Sweet Mercury is still getting used to rescue life. She loves calm human interactions, but she can be very timid at first. Mercury suffers from arthritis, so she has a bit of a limp, but she is otherwise perfectly healthy. Her pretty white coat is soft, and she purrs while you scratch her neck. She may need an adjustment period in a new home, but she likes people and will likely warm up quickly. (Cone in the photo only because she was recently spayed.)

⭐ In a foster home

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Buddy is brand new to rescue, so we're still getting to know his personality. He is very scared after a huge life change and wants to keep to himself. He avoids humans and will require a lot of patience from a future adopter to make him comfortable. What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Blackie is having a tough time adjusting to rescue life. He is very timid and totally avoids humans in the Cat House. He is happy to cuddle with other kitties and try to keep a low-key presence. It is certainly possible Blackie will become more comfortable and will start to come out of his shell, but it will require extreme patience. He is a very sweet cat who is mostly just scared after a huge change in his life.

Pavio

Estimated age: 3 years
Gender: Male
Time at LV: 1 month

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Pavio is a character! He is a very sweet, affectionate, and social kitty, so much so that he sometimes becomes overstimulated and mouthy. Pavio likes to get what he wants and will herd you into a room to keep you from leaving if it means more cuddles for him. He likes to rest his head on your lap and be right against anyone he meets. He does not have the best track record with other cats, but he could coexist if necessary. Pavio is a great cat, but he is going to need an adopter willing to take it slow so he does not get overly excited and lash out.

Time at LV: 2 months

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Figarro is a gentle giant with humans and never misses an opportunity to get pets! He is always eager to greet visitors to the Cat House. He is still uncomfortable with the other cats but could learn to coexist in a less stressful environment and with more time to adjust. He is front declawed and will have to strictly be an inside cat.

Lucy is very affectionate with her human friends. She is mostly a very low-key cat who spends most of her time lounging in a cat tree. She loves a good window seat. Dean mostly stays to himself and avoids attention. Once he decides you aren't going to bother him without permission, he warms up a bit and becomes curious. Mostly he just wants to nap with his cat friends.

The best kind of home for Dean:
Dean will require some patience as he does not care for attention he doesn't ask for. His future home should be a place where he can hang out on his own or with other cats.

Velvet

Estimated age: 9 years
Gender: Male
Time at LV: 3 years

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Velvet loves nothing more than a lap. If you have a chair and a warm lap, Velvet will be your best friend. He has a luxurious gray coat to match his name and piercing eyes. He can be kind of moody sometimes, and he likes to receive affection on his own terms. He has grown comfortable in the Cat House, so he will need time to adjust to a new home.

The best kind of home for Velvet:
Velvet would do really well in a slow-paced home where he can just rest in your lap. He mostly ignores other cats and sometimes wants to be left alone. He will likely take some time to get used to a new home and should be given the time and patience to adjust to a life change. Velvet suffers from stomatitis, a recurring gum disease in cats, and has had all of his teeth removed. A special diet of wet food will be necessary.

Kushka is a fairly affectionate black kitty. She likes to come to you for attention sometimes, but she mostly just wants to do what she wants when she wants. She is very independent, but she is not afraid of people.

The best kind of home for Kushka:
Kushka would do best in a home without small children. She would really thrive in a home where her family allows her to make her own decisions -- when to receive affection, etc. She would prefer to be the only pet in the home, but she has lived and coexisted with cats.

The best kind of home for Mathis:
Mathis will need time to warm up to a new human family. He is sweet once he gets used to a new environment, but may need patience from his forever home. He does very well with other cats and seems to love being around them.

We have noticed she has started to become less nervous around people lately. She loves snacks and treats! If she gets to know you, she will allow calm interactions.

The best kind of home for Rexx:
Rexx's future family should be willing to show extreme patience with her. She is afraid of new people and things, but she does much better in a peaceful environment. She will warm up, but she may never be the most affectionate cat.

He will, however, warm up to a very patient human friend. Sam loves treats and cuddles with his buddies.

The best kind of home for Sam:
Sam's future family should be willing to show extreme patience with him. In the right environment, he may come out of his shell. But for the most part, he is not a fan of new people or things. He does adjust to people who he is around often, but he does not want direct interation with them. He loves to be around other cats.
