Why we do this...

The owner that adopted one of our dogs created a video on Youtube that shows this puppy's good times with her new companion. Watch Rexy's video to see one of our beautiful rescues and all the love YOU can find from a rescue dog!!

Lost Dog ~ Charlie PDF Print E-mail
Thursday, 31 December 2009

My Charlie dog has gone missing since the day after Christmas. He was wearing a red collar with a blue bone-shaped name tag (with his name, phone# and "Please call my mommy" on it) and a black walking harness. He was last seen in the Chesapeake area, North Huntington Heights/Union Township (just up the hill from the gas station and
community center). He is just shy of 2-years old (his b-day is 03-07-08), 55 lbs and knee-high. He is the best little boy, very friendly, loves to play and eat-- in that order! He is also a great cuddle-buddy. If anyone sees him, PLEASE call 304-654-6482 or
304-634-5202 or you can email me here or at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it

More about Charlie-- he really loves to play so if you see him, ask
"Do you wanna play?" and maybe toss a ball or stick his direction (he
will bring it back to you but will not let you have it-- he likes to
play chase-- or you can ask him to get the ball or get the toy and he
will but he wants to hold it in his mouth and you hold it too!). He
also responds to the words "treat" and "eat", as in "who want's a
treat?" He really is friendly and fun. He does not bark, but will
'talk' to you and use whines to get your attention when he wants to go
out/in, or play.

If you see him, tell him his mommy is really very very sad. We have
scoured the woods, the roadsides, the neighborhood-- all to no avail.
We have passed out flyers and knocked on doors. He has simply
disappeared. If you see any sign of him, PLEASE let me know. Alive or
not, I want to bring him home. Thank you animal advocates. Bless you
all for the work you do.
