Little Victories Opens Thrift Store!!! |

Little Victories Animal Rescue is requesting donations of household items, furniture, and some clothing for a Thrift Store it plans to open April 1st. The new store is called Second Chances and is located at 4465 Rt.10, Barboursville. All proceeds from this store will go towards expenses for Little Victories Rescue farm and medical expenses.
Little Victories, a no kill shelter, has been in this area for five years. During this time we have saved hundreds of animals. All of the animals adopted from Little Victories have their shots, heartworm test, bordatella, and are spayed or neutered. Please support this group and save the lives of homeless, injured, or abandoned animals.

A great time was had by all this past Friday the 29th, during the Longaberger Basket Bingo event. Aside from the great fun, the night was a strong success in helping the Little Victories medical fund. We appreciate everyone that came out to play bingo with us, but we also want to take a moment to really thank the volunteers that helped put this event (and others) together for everyone to enjoy and to help the animals. HUNTINGTON -- Little Victories is hoping to make the animals they house easier to adopt.
And $15,000 from Chad Pennington's 1st and 10 Foundation is a good way to start.
The no-kill animal shelter in Ona received notification this week that they'll be receiving the money from the foundation started by the former Marshall football standout and current NFL quarterback. |

HUNTINGTON -- Every time Little Victories Animal Rescue conducts an adopt-a-thon, the primary goal is to find good homes for their dogs and cats.
But many times, it's the awareness and public appearances that go a lot further, said board member Dr. Bill Webb. As an animal lover, he'd much rather see that all of the dogs and cats find loving homes, but he also understands that making people aware of the no-kill shelter and its needs is also important. |
