Dear LV Supporters:
Please vote for us in the Pepsi Refresh Project, a grant program for great community-helping ideas. Little Victories has submitted "The Paw-sitive Solution" for spay neuter. Our goal is to spay and neuter the pets of low income residents of our area, in turn helping to reduce the number of pets that must be euthanized in our county shelter. We have applied for $25,000, but we need you help to win. Please vote for us, and ask your friends and family to do the same.

One of Little Victories volunteers shows how to talk to the animals. Leigha Fenwick took a very shy dog named Wilson and helped bring him out of his shell.
Wilson has since been adopted and has a wonderful home in Charleston, WV.

My Charlie dog has gone missing since the day after Christmas. He was wearing a red collar with a blue bone-shaped name tag (with his name, phone# and "Please call my mommy" on it) and a black walking harness. He was last seen in the Chesapeake area, North Huntington Heights/Union Township (just up the hill from the gas station and
community center). He is just shy of 2-years old (his b-day is 03-07-08), 55 lbs and knee-high. He is the best little boy, very friendly, loves to play and eat-- in that order! He is also a great cuddle-buddy. If anyone sees him, PLEASE call 304-654-6482 or
304-634-5202 or you can email me here or at

The Herald-Dispatch
HUNTINGTON -- Every time Little Victories Animal Rescue conducts an adopt-a-thon, the primary goal is to find good homes for their dogs and cats.
But many times, it's the awareness and public appearances that go a lot further, said board member Dr. Bill Webb. As an animal lover, he'd much rather see that all of the dogs and cats find loving homes, but he also understands that making people aware of the no-kill shelter and its needs is also important. |
